Has anyone heard of any layoffs coming? Big meeting tomorrow and am concerned about the topic.

It's a matter of time our bank having a center in India!
One whole team in my department just got off-shored. We all got blindsided by it. They’re done March 21, just in time for the annual comp increase to not affect them.
To OP: be specific. This site is becoming a waste of time when we are so vague. There are 70k employees. There are layoffs every week. So yes, there is a layoff this week.
I heard there will be lots of layoffs but I don't know if it's true or what part of the bank but someone said it so I think it's true but who knows.
So they laid off 16,000 people since 2022, if you include the 8,000 Union Bank people b that mapped over to USBank. Most of the Union Bank people have been layoff already.
How much more can they can!?
How is this economy supposed to survive when Federal government is laying people off off and corporate offshoring everyday
Well if they do layoff now I understand why they changed the dates of the LTI bonus and said you must be employed on the 14th to receive it.
What is the big meeting?
Rolling layoffs to continue.
The headcount reduction will go on until 6-7K additional headcount is reduced.
The bank went from
78,192 in Dec 2022 to
75,465 in Dec 2023 to
70,263 in Dec 2024
There were already some that happened this week, looks like with March 21st as last date
