You have to stick around for 5 years to get that full vest - don’t count on that. Hock prefers to have about 50% less than the minimum required number of employees.

It is based on band, but it also based on job type. Hock favors R&D and engineers over administrative and business roles. So an IBC 5 software developer might get significantly more than an IBC 5 marketing specialist. Salary bands are the same way.
Of course, not sll get same. It is performance based (predefined set of multipliers based of ranking) just like bonus.
Grade based makes sense. HT gets the most. But, is this performance base? All the level 5 gets the same number or some more?
