“We’re focusing on growth” article on the internet home page
I like how everyone sh--s on USB (rightfully) but then also downvotes people sharing information.
It will sit under TD and is happening.
“Growth office” is real - will be announced publicly soon
You clearly have NO idea what you're talking about Post ID: @gq+1jpd07t98 . No idea.
Whoever posted this…
“You have not heard of the Operations Transformations group under D. Murphy? The group was formed in 2023 and their sole purpose in life is to find ways to cut costs, including offshoring as much work as possible. In the org chart, this group reports up to Souheil. Please educate yourself.”
…is clearly making things up. First of all, the D. Murphy person has left the bank. Second of all, if you knew anything at all about how that department and business line managed costs, you would understand they wouldn’t know the first thing about “creating efficiencies.” There’s a lot of trash posted here but this one takes the cake for sheer misinformation.
I can't wait.
"You're fired!" "Actually we realized you do something important, you're un-fired!" "We never said you were fired, but we're not going to pay you!" "Wait what do you mean lawsuit?"
G.K. learned a thing or two from Jane Fraser's "Operation Bora Bora" and she will be implementing her own version soon. If you're in middle management and contributing very little, your days are numbered. You were able to hide under the A.C. regime but those days are over.
Someone (same person likely) just here posting innuendos and have no real insight inside the company.
We are about to have a new leadership in 3 weeks, don't worry - real news will start being materialized in a big way
"No there are no details. Just another BS post from someone who doesn't know anything. If there was an "office" like this, then they should post what area it is in, where this so-called office is in the org chart. This whole group has tons of people who just make up nonsense. Until I see some credible evidence, this office is just BS. "
You are painfully naive if you believe your own post. For example read the post right after yours. That is just one example. You must be very young and inexperienced about the realities of corporate America in the 21st century if you actually believe what you posted.

"Does anyone know details on the efficiency office? Which teams are on the chopping block?"

RTO destroyed moral, took away the wind under their wings, and their destroyed the Green initiative/ESG. Nothing says green like making 75,000 people clog up the roads every day, only to sit on Teams with the rest of their dispursed department, makes no sense. Then, they dont even get their own desk anymore. High inflation, low merits. People are just going through the motions at this point.
As shown in the annual report, the bank's revenue line is flat, the net revenue "growth" has come from reduction of expenses (people), Wall Street has seen that charade before, Berkshire bolted two years ago, from my perspective, the meltdown and disintegration of a once proud financial behemoth has begun.
Consultants with chainsaws… let the hunger games begin.
