Bravo, Belk! You've expertly cut salary roles that were essential for managing those hours, only to further reduce store hours to the barest essentials. Just 500 hours to keep a store running that’s achieving sales but not hitting credit targets? Or will those hours be funneled to the so-called golden stores that barely meet their metrics? Of course, I get it—the RVPs need to ensure their bonuses are safe!

Belk gave our store a whole big 40hrs Monday after Easter. And they so nicely added markdowns along with a sell set.
As long as KKR gets that rent payment....you will do as your told....
All I can say is people better start looking. Because you’ll be the first to go before those high paid salary people in corporate.

If you only get 500 hours to run a big box department store, I would start looking for a new job. There is no possible way a department store can run on 500 hours, they are setting you up to fail.
