Anyone know what they are currently paying?? I’m sure it’s been slashed again. Our final reward for loyal service.

Severance is based on where you live and what the labor laws are. Don’t expect the company to offer you anything more than the minimum, and you will lose your healthcare as quickly as the laws in your area allow as well.
After separation you will have to deal with getting tax forms, not a human available to help, anything you need you have to put a request in online and wait.
If you were a union employee, your severance would be in your contract, usually 2 weeks pay for every year worked, up to 52 weeks maximum, being union does protect the employees and always has representation to fight for you.
I think the question was just about the current package. Not speculating if Candescent layoffs have occurred, or will occur? So I’m curious now. Anyone know what the current package looks like. Is it based on grade or years of service ?
The exec or HR person running the show never says how many. We I got my “call” in 2018, all I got was “everyone on this call is RIF’ed as of 5 PM today”. When I got package it included a pdf of positions and ages. Their way of “proving” no age bias. Counting the names was 60 sales, PS, SSC, and support folks.
It’s funny how nobody ever says how many were let go, neither the ones let go or the ones remaining.
This blog seems to be lame
How many people got effected?
The dude with "needful". Are you some Indian or something? They do use the "do the needful kindly".
When did the cuts hit Candescent?
Be careful discussing your separation package, the letter is written by the companies lawyer and has a lot of wording about confidentiality. Most of this is just to scare the he-l out of you, they don’t want you telling others anything or advising others.
After going through it myself, my advice is if you are unsure if you got a fair deal, hire an employment lawyer, mine was under $2,000 and worth every penny. If your happy with your separation package, sign it and move on, but don’t feel pressured to sign it if you have any doubt on fairness, trust me all the upper management have lawyers and the Union people also have representatives to look after them.
