If Larry & Co laid off the entire Renewables workforce, and simply wrote off all the Renewables assets, the overall GE company would be in a much better spot financially than it is today!

ID: @OP+1jqa769U just one of many unworkable business ideas sold and bought during IMELT tenure. The process of mending what was ignored and broken for so long with Alstrom, Wind, etc. added to the demise of GE. Doesn’t matter what level of pay or education, there are always job slackers.
Same can be said for the Aviation in 2020, 2009, 2002, Power in 2020, 2019, 2018, 2009, Renewable in 2017, 2013, Capital in 2009, O&G in 2016, etc. The list goes on and on. It's cyclic and nothing new. Leaders are supposed to plan and manage these peaks and troughs, but we just inbred "leaders" that only care about the next quarter and their next career/compensation move.
@1cjy+1jqa769U. Our Schenectady jobs are not going anywhere! Our union leadership said so. Also the management leadership states they are confident Schenectady jobs are here to stay. They will never close this campus this is where it all started.
Thinking of the IUE members who lost their “union” jobs when work was moved from them to Schenectady…what goes around, comes around.
