Thread regarding HCSC (Health Care Service Corporation) layoffs

We are stronger if we grow together

In the long run, we all benefit when we adapt and grow together. Take the time to connect with your peers: Do you know what they actually do? What could you learn from them? What could you build together if you stopped comparing and started collaborating?

The more we understand each other’s strengths, the stronger we become and the stronger our business will be. Start the conversation. Send a message. Set up a meet and greet.

HCSC has supported us through challenging times. Unfortunately the outside world is challenging again. Markets are shifting and stability isn't guaranteed. But when we work together and support one another, we give ourselves the best chance to succeed and stay.

Sometimes the greener grass is the one you choose to grow.

HR is missing in action. There is no alignment of goals and future outcomes.

We were in this together until most of my department’s work was outsourced. Nobody cares about the quality of their work just that they’re cheaper. Now we’re left to wonder…is today when they get rid of us?

People are afraid. There is so much uncertainty, the HCSC people in Medicare are threatened by the Cigna people and they aren't being open and accepting, which is a shame, because the Cigna people bring a lot of great ideas and practices. If HCSC leadership doesn't get a clue and get the HCSC mid level leaders on board, there will be no improvement and the Cigna talent will walk.
