Federal contractor minimum wage $16.20

On January 1, 2023 the federal contractor minimum wage increases to $16.20. Has anyone said anything to you about hourly rates increasing for test center workers?
Last year the test centers were considered federal contractors. Has this changed? I heard nothing about this in the town hall.

Federal contractor minimum rates are finalized in September for the upcoming year. That's why they announced pay increases in the October town hall last year. The document that they had to follow said there would be upward adjustments for each year. The finalized rate is $16.20 starting in January 2023.
Nothing has been said to us about an increase but if they had to reluctantly follow it last year, then what changed?
Google federal contractor minimum rates to see. It was last years $15 minimum they had to honor.

Ask your line manager…and they’ll have you chasing your tail indefinitely.

This is news to me. Another reminder of how vague and avoidant management is when it benefits the company.

Must be the good old "ask your line manager" situation. The line manager isn't given any information in most cases but that is always the brush off statement. If they can avoid increasing the pay, they will.

The town hall ended before questions were answered so if anyone asked about this, we will never know. The centers making the federal contractor minimum wage should care about this since it's $1.20 an hour more. All centers should care.
No word on it yet.
