Did anyone expect better Q4 results?

  • Cash from operations of $4,583 million for the fourth quarter, less capital expenditures of $122 million, resulted in $4,461 million of free cash flow, or 50 percent of revenue

Not sure where you think they have levers to pull to improve things beyond what they are doing. Constrained on the semi-conductor side with supply issues, still. Constrained on the infrastructure software side by the fixed flow coming in from the multi-year agreements & not much new business (hence the need to grow by acquisition). Profitability isn't improving due to requirements to re-invest in the business (capital expenditures) and pressures to pay their people. I think the S&GA line went up for the first time in a long time. Share buybacks were emphasized in the quarterly call to assure the analysts that per share profit would continue to rise.
