Thread regarding Hy-Vee layoffs

Explanation of Hyvees changes

HyVees main revenue stream, which explains the 2 ceos, Randy chairman and 2 'separate hyvees is now data collection. Hyvees main profit source is harvesting people's info from fuelsavers, H+, they can know who you in store even with fuelsaver naturally.
Hence also the outsourcing in India.
On one hand I appreciate the endeavor as a means to adapt to unprofitability of grocery retail but the store side of the company still is expected to make revenue which results in completely irrational changes, hour cuts, store closing earlier, departments closing earlier, wages, etc. Why should stores not reap the benefits of the rest of the companies revenue? We don't see bonuses from corporate that the company makes, only the punishments for not making unrealistic expectations.

To the poster suggesting someone is not supportive and should cash out:

  1. The original poster raises valid concerns, so get off his/her back.
  2. Do the initials F.O. mean anything to you?

Unfortunately, you sound like a stockholder, privy to company information; but no longer supportive. Perhaps you should cash out and not be involved any longer.
