this was the worst planned timing ive ever seen in any company 10 min call , blocked all access and a random hr meeting to attend , zero idea or notice

I can confirm this. The timing is bad. I just recently started in a Support Engineer role based in Austin Texas campus and I had to move for this job. I had to sign a 12 month lease on a fairly expensive place. Now, if I get cut and I am unable to find a well paying job soon (I specialize in Informatica, so the entire segment is laying off) I will be in trouble. Well, 2023 did start with in a bad way.

All locations are affected, so it's a global cut. 2023 is going to be a bad year.

My wife works there and it was announced today in an All Hands call. There are also news sources covering it if you go to Google News.
