If you rebrand, you can then show YoY growth on a "new" product
Learn as much as you can and network so that you'll be able to move on if the company doesn't work for you. Depending on your expectations and what org you're in HPE may be a good fit but don't come back here in a year or two bellyaching about it if it doesn't, just leave..
Honest question: what would you say to someone who is onboardng at HPE?
I hated working there. No raises, constant travel, no training and belligerent management.
When I worked at HPE, my wife used to ask if the logo was a dead battery symbol LOL...
The survey responses, if they are to be believed, are suspicious. Who did we survey? People off the street? Only 15% of IT/tech purchasers knew what ProLiant was, and out of those only 5% knew HPE made the ProLiant line of servers? Amazing!
Those of us who work here know that HPE's problems run way deeper. This is at best putting lipstick on a pig. At worst, it destroys what little brand recognition the company has. I can't believe people get paid to come up with this stuff.
NO we need a few more abreviations and code names. So no one knows whats going on or where
Rebrand Greenlake to Shitlake?
