In case of a layoff, would they pay the bonus for the previous or current quarter? How would this change, if one were to resign?

Given RIF notice in Nov, Jan payrun didn’t show my Q2 bonus in the payslip, completely missing. Following up with management
Read your comp plan. There’s rules like you must be employed on last day of month in the quarter and you must complete a certain number of days within the quarter.
Given the dates we’ve seen- I’d say no bonus pay outs.
wait! there are bonus hand outs at Oracle? only started working here for a few months. just expecting my RSU will offset the missing bonuses and unlimited vacation issue.
Think of it this way - With a RIF, Oracle is just sweeping you out the back door in a dustpan. No respect is shown to you, no bonus is given for any work you busted your rear end on in the prior quarter, no "Thank you for your service", you're just OUT.
Yeah, but what's REALLY important is that your time at Oracle was incredibly enjoyable and fulfilling - the best time of your life!
You get zip on any bonus if you're RIF'd. When I got RIF'd on June 1 a few years ago, I got no Q4 bonus for the prior FY and no Q1 bonus for the new FY.

You expect to be treated with respect on your way out? At Oracle? LOL.
- If you resign then no bonus
- If you get RIF'ed then no bonus
Your ankle grabbing package includes the denial of bonus cash. There are lots of other great surprises you will discover about the package too.
I would expect they would not give you any bonus if they know they are getting rid of you. Why would they waste the money on you when they can give it to someone that is staying.
