Thread regarding TIBCO Software Inc. layoffs

A lot of people are going to leave in coming weeks and months

Good colleagues fired, no long term strategy, screwed on bonuses, ...

That will be the end of TIBCO

Maybe it’s because you couldn’t spell TIBCO correctly.

Unfortunately there is no comparison of the TIBCO Vivek Ranadive created vs the current company. TIBCO was the most unique company I’ve ever had the privilege to work for. The saying “grass is always greener” couldn’t be more true. TIBCO had so much heart and some really insanely incredible people. So sad to see it die a slow agonizing death.

Can't compare Tibco pre-Krause to now. Two different companies.

I commented here last year about the awful things I witnessed in my time at Tibco and got flamed by people. Everything is fine, everything is amazing, you must have been fired etc. Do those people still feel the same way now?

This turned out to be 100% correct. My LinkedIn is flooded with senior Tibco people announcing their departure.

I hope to be one of them soon.

Customer satisfaction will nosedive and revenue will suffer from these changes but it's too late to undo now.

Tibco is supposed to lead and execute the integration (takeover) of Citrix. How is that going? Has it been worked out yet operationally? New FTE’s ready to hit the ground running?
