$250k plus last year at Mason - Guess i’m the “anomaly “ -
He or she said "you didn't make the cut" as if that's a bad thing! Hahahahaha!
Leaving WB must be the same feeling as getting out of jail.
facts : Branch/sales mgrs are quitting left and right. If business is so good , why quit?
Mason is hiring drivers and coffee techs , even though stops are waaay down and the office coffee biz is 1/3rd of what it was a few years ago. Why ?? People are quitting left and right .
Why are they quitting?? Mason saaaawks wicked haaaaad core .
If wb mason is doing so well why did they just cut more people and multiple branches?
WB Mason couldn’t adapt. That’s why they slashed half the company during the pandemic?
Meanwhile most other distributors were seeing growth during the pandemic and had to increase their hire rate to make up the workload.
You’re a liar or an anomaly. Most people I know there are still less than $100,000 and that’s while doing 2x or 3x the work.
Good companies have good ratings on job sites. WB’s rating is in the 2 out of 5 range on most of them.
You’re low balling it. I made well over $200K last year at WB - If you think you were let go bc you were making too much $$ you’re wrong. Def not many of us left but those who are are reaping the rewards. The hate needs to end. Let it go. It was a good run for many - but the company has obviously changed and the only people left standing are the one’s who were able to adapt and figure it out. Love my job - Love WB - Love the $$
It’s funny when people who were making $40k and writing nothing, all of a sudden start making $80k and have $4 million in business given to them.
Congrats on making your nut on other peoples accounts. This time next year you’ll be making $60
To the person who said "New era dude. Sorry you didn’t make the cut."
I'm glad that at least one WB employee is happy.
But most of the people cut were making higher salaries than those kept. That's why they were cut. And WB still underpays the majority of its workforce. It doesn't take much research to figure that out.
the Newark branch closed! How good can they be doing??
As of October, when they reported the years numbers , they are still down from pre covid numbers by quite a bit .
If routes are being cut , why are they hiring drivers?? Why?? Because the long time drivers all quit .
Mason always had a unique way of distorting the truth. Just waiting for all the class action suits to hit—.
That’s not what I heard - their best rep in Florida just walked out because it’s gotten so bad. Branches closing in Masonville, every Florida warehouse cutting at least 1 driver and route, Losing business DAILY to Staples, Amazon etc., because they are hitting customers at 40-50% margin, their big vendors like HP giving competition BETTER discounts and margin …. The writing is on the wall.
So…. Company is stronger than it’s ever been. I’m making twice as much as a rep. Business is up. Margins are up. New era dude. Sorry you didn’t make the cut because the reps that are left are doing pretty damn good.
Worst thing that happened to WB was when Leo bought the call center in Fla, turned the company that had kicked the sh-t out of Staples into Staples
i’m sure of it. you also don’t see the trucks nearly as much anymore.
biz must be down . i’ll show brockton the same level of sympathy equivalent to the level of communication they showed to the furloughed people.
they sawwwwwwk wicked haaaad core.
