Speaking of the craziness, layoff season continues to be upon us. CX suffered more cuts last week that will likely continue. Cost cutting and right sizing continues as Oracle tries to compete.
My guess as the Oracle of Oracle? Even though it feels like the worst is behind, I think the worst is yet to come. While other companies lay off to return to pre-pandemic times or pivot into AI, Oracle is neither. Our technology is aging, expensive, and not as agile as the rest of the market, no matter what paid Gartner MQs say. This layoff will be reduce the business because the squeeze no longer nets the juice.
