Thread regarding Shell Oil layoffs

What are the usual entry level engineer salary ranges for super majors?

I'm curious how much of a difference there is between the super majors like exxon, shell, bp, chevron, etc

For mechanical engineering graduates it’s was 98000 in 2015 and it’s 98000 in 2021. How do I know? I graduated in 2015 and accepted a job at Shell and my brother graduate in 2021 and accepted a job at Shell. I was working in downstream and my brother is working in upstream.

I'm guessing too much for Shell. Since the engineers at Shell Canada don't actually engineer.
