Thread regarding Hy-Vee layoffs

They don't care

I probably sound like a broken record but at my store unless you're "one of the boys" (the three or four uppers that's been there for over a decade or more), you are nothing. I found out that a hard working part timer that has been with the company who works 25 hours a week only makes $13.50 an hour after two and a half decades. Also the store manager hires his perishable manager to mow the store lawn for an obsene amount of money. I am completely done working hard for the company. I could write a book on all the BS that happens.

Why do I get the feeling you never worked "hard" for any company? Let me know when that book comes out. I'll waste no time reading it.

This has been discussed in some manner here before. It's called nepotism. ....a store I was at...the director had his brother-in-law, and his so called company hired to do the snow removal. They got an obscene amount of money, with each snow event....and did a horrible job.
