These kids are running the show? This model seems a bit scary

It is very obvious that morale is crushed by present employees, lower management is checked out and just stands on the sidelines waiting for the employees to figure out how to fix things on their own with disregard for teamwork. True, we may get some cr-p field hands yet the good contract employees that do come through, every now and then, don’t want to work in a toxic environment. They are not obligated to stay and will bolt the first chance they get. In this perspective, is it really a good idea to let the bottom run the top when the bottom is so poisonous?
The below is just D-mb. However we’re all pawns in the grand scheme of things
We are fed up and tired of the ranch hands thinking they can run the place.
When the field was allowed to make the decisions and run the their AOR as a business was when Apache was a lean, mean money making machine. Now bean counters and HR departments run the show. Pumpers had more stroke than Ops Managers do now. Of course HR got involved in hiring and the field staff went to cr-p as well. Their morale has been crushed. The current management is the absolute worst in the industry. Can't wait to listen to them stumble all over themselves during the upcoming earnings call. This management team over promises and under delivers consistently and this is directly related to DP and his romper room underlings. I see another downward earnings revision coming.
The planning people are infants To below
Why should the field make decisions? You don't let the McDonalds cashier decide how to grow the chain.
Let the kids play with their toy
The field should be making decisions. Not DPs minion offspring
Surely they will get it right by accident one of these years
It’s like they’re not even trying to plan? It’s in their job title
it is pretty much a crime to let them run anything including the cafe.
That’s a very common concern on the site. And it’s certainly justified. They’re clueless just like senior mgmt.
it’s dp still learning how to run an operator
You sound old.
