Yep, folks at Nuvox that knew what was happening weren't even sure they would receive their next paycheck when they were bought.

At Paetec WIN had to secure a large loan to keep them in business long enough for the sale to complete.

We had major issues with the ILECs charging us due to our lazy CLEC techs calling them out for everything.

PATEC and NUVOX were the biggest turds you could buy. They weren’t far from closing the doors. All CLEC techs would do is polish the switch. Half of those slackers did even have a ladder on the truck. If you needed to run a wire call the LEC boys. They just put the package on the wall and went to lunch and then home. The AT&T burnouts that ran those places were in the same class with Forrest. You would have had a better return on the money you paid for those companies if you bought beer with it, drank it and sold the aluminum.

PAETEC back when it was still alive was a company that cared. Windstream helped ki-l all that off.

When that major merger happened in 2010 we should have kept Arunas and ditched JG. Imagine what a different environment we would be in today

I'm not a fan of double T but JG was a complete mess. G was a drunk that lost his license and had to have a company driver to drive him around. The problems this company have still trace back to decisions JG and his board made (specifically the Paetec acquisition was a huge mistake).

Fortunately for everyone we are not in prison. You have the opportunity to showcase your talent to other employers to determine your real value.

TT made millions in "motivational bonuses" because bankruptcy was hard. Ummm..... You renewed your employment contract early, in fact the day before filing for bankruptcy.

Make no mistake, the accountant is in it for himself. Rank and file employees can't get a cost of living adjustment, much less a raise that means anything.
