Big meeting for the OCI department tomorrow.... Pretty damn worried

Lots of fake posts on here. Once in a while something is true. Always hard to tell.
No OCI is safe. The meetings are to give everyone double digit raises next month.

Eventually it will happen. When the market doesn't demand any product or service it goes away. They tried to fight the good fight. When I was at Oracle is was a bear trying to get customers to even discuss OCI. They did it as a favor to me. I did win some business - like it really mattered - but Oracle was an afterthought and you feel like you are ki----g your reputation trying to sell it to be honest. Oracle is becoming more a database - for now - and application company - for now. If your focus is OCI, I would suggest getting your skills up for other things as it is only a matter of time. This I believe is the year that OCI sales and people will get hit. hard. No market share.
just making stuff up...layoffs may happen since a lot of big tech companies are going through that, but a whole lot of people love to just say random things like "OCI Layoffs coming" or "7% layoffs", etc. without sharing a fact...just being trouble makers...
Many roles in OCI will ultimately be replaced by ChatGPT AI or similar.
