Does anybody in the latest round of closing/liquidation stores know anything about severance payments or if a retention bonus is being offered?

No retention bonus and no answer from corporate on a severance per a dm. However, we all no what the answer on severance will be.
The severance info was removed from zipline. It was there yesterday. It’s over. If you are still around. You are getting screwed.
Very often with COBRA benefits... the employer simply outsources the whole process out to the COBRA facilitator. That way the company itself no longer has to deal with the employees. I don't know if there were many HR layoffs recently, but there may have also been voluntary departures.... which might be another reason you aren't gettting responses.

Was let go a a month ago and so far the checks are coming. On the other hand cobra info just came almost a month later and NO ONE at BBBY was a help at all. All I got was it will come and you need to be patient, call this number or call this person and only got deer in headlights. Now, tons of medical bills most I had to pay for and even more calls to make.
Sorry but if anyone left now thinks they will get a severance package you are CRAZY. They will use you to liquidate their assets for them then kick you to the curb. That is reality.
They are not paying any severance. You will get an email saying sorry but we don’t have the funds for severance. Just another way to kick your employees while they are down.
