I have recently noticed a VP promotion in MS ASE organization. We were told by our managers that there would not be any mid year promotions in the ASE org due to budget constraints. We’re there any other promotions in the ASE org.

I have heard this story before. VPs moving to new organization and their favorites moving along with them is nothing new . As long as MS can convince SM of the results , he will rule the fort !!
MS ruined his department right when he took over between people he laid off and promoted. There are multiple friends he brought over, including this one who is more than a "friend".
He will always say yes to SM though so his job is safe. The rumors are he was not even hired for the role he got put into but that sales didn't want him so support got stuck with him. Then he pushed people out and brought in his clueless friends.
Can they take away the stock options?

We are on a hiring freeze.
We don’t have any open positions.
We have frozen promotions and raises.
Bull cr-p. There is always some of that going on.
Of course MS promoted his friend who was brought over with no experience or results. The rumours are saying she's more than a friend..
Who's not with MS is against him, 4 VP were laid off in the last months, but at least we now have a very "skillful" new VP :))
