I told everybody I knew they should start looking for a new job after the first layoff was announced. Most people ignored me. I left for a new job a few weeks later and since then I've been watching as more and more layoffs are announced. I wish more people would realize that Rivian is done for their own sake.

Rivian needs to entirely divest itself from its Michigan holdings. Go all-in in California and Normal, IL. Relocate the mfg related groups to Normal and everything else to California. And wherever possible, shift to remote or hybrid (remote & office) arrangements.
