A blessing would be for the USBank leaders and HR staff to pay attention to the actions and culture of incoming leadership, which is abysmal. Incompetence reigns amongst those who are deciding who should remain and who should be severed. A good quality team looking at experience and expertise should see right through the sometimes knee -jerk actions and unprofessionalism of those in charge.

There is very little of value in UB employees. USB doesn’t need them, just the business.
Thanks to the few USB people that backed up the UB people. So much hate on this site from many of you. We could out perform you as there are much fewer of us and we clearly had better numbers. USB management just burned up a few billion dollars completing the merger. Overpaid for what is left standing. Many good hardworking people gone but at a cost. Not only is production lost but they have to pay out the severance based upon UB terms. That means .many of us will see more than 1 year of salary + bonus so good luck to you all. I'll think you youbwhen I wake up at 10:30 am.
Don’t expect USB to accept the fact that many of the UB folks are higher performers. It’s shows that the USB management doesn’t know how to build higher performing teams. If they were smart( they aren’t), they would get rid of their current bottom feeders and replace them with higher performing UB folks. But that concept is a hard one for them to grasp. I have been at USB for a year and it’s a boys club .

The UB hate comes from us entering a new environment, with a glimmer of hope that there is some normalcy on the other end. They hired, and sent low performing middle managers to USBank to lead decisions along with USBank.
They hate UB people because you're the new kids and you were paid a heck of a lot more.

There is suddenly a TON of undue UB hate in these posts and comments. Is this the work of USBs team of paid shills that are hired solely to respond to negative online criticism? Just awfully curious to suddenly see so many remarks brown nosing USB leadership and trashing that of UB.

There is no severance for anyone in retail. According to a few managers, you will be offered a place at a USB location within 50 miles of your current location. Turn that down and you get nothing but all the time you wasted at UB.
Union Bank folks - Do not even bother applying for US bank internal job. If you are rejected most likely you are on June layoff list. HR probably does not want to redo severance paperwork so turning you down outright.

Funny because UB folks can say the same of USBank. Leaders are weak, mid- level managers are over their heads . Some much wasted effort in the so called agile environment. It’s obvious USBank has not done a transaction like this .
Layoffs at the bank are based on age and salary. The bank does not value experience or knowledge.
