What is the point of HR?

My boss has crossed the line several times, even showing me na--d pictures on his phone. I feel like it’s pointless to go to HR due to the fact they will just collude with my boss to protect the company. This all happened all a company sponsored lunched

HR is there to.direct the company how to protect themselves when they are doing bad and wrong things so they don't get in trouble.

Business Integrity is there to find out who the complainers are so they can go on a witch hunt and fire the noise makers.

@ej They don't do anything here about s-xual harassment. Make sure you take your anti-harrassment class though. Exactly why I didn't even bother reporting my DM for se-----y harassing me years ago. I needed my job then. He let me know point blank he had a thing for my "Ti-s"

I had an ongoing issue as well. Business Integrity team took at least a year to “review” only to also dismiss. All the while I poked the bear till I was terminated and then took it outside the company where we settled. 6 figures. If they did nothing wrong, seemed like a nice payout. I already had another job waiting in the wings. HR and BI are extensions of the company. You should go through them but also consult an attorney. Cc yourself on every single thing you send! Not even blind cc, be upfront! I sure hope one day people unite and hit them with a monster class action lawsuit, it would not be hard to make them settle. It’s happened before and can happen again and with social media it’s not hard to find people that are in the same position. This is a publicly held company and must abide by the rules that govern such companies! The EEOC is a free service that will investigate claims. Be a pain in the a-s of Mondelez! Make them work!

Hr is useless. If you have proof seek legal help outside of the company hr will only dismiss and sweep under the rug i have a complaint against thays been going on for 2 yrs. They keep closing with any response or evening doing any research on my case I even went to the top of hr. Also if u have email send to personal than to another email account they will retract any email you from company sent property that way once u send to two different email they cant retract also screen shot everything

Business Integrity is where you report things, although you won’t get any satisfaction with them either. At least file a complaint. The na--d pictures are s-xual harassment, I’d report that for sure and let the BI team know. Put them on speed dial, the BI team! Every single time you have an issue, call!
Retaining an attorney is not that much, you can likely only pay a portion of what you win if they take your case. Hire an employment attorney. Mondelez will settle! Take what you get and leave!

@OP HR is horrible. They are not in America. I had an issue with my DM and never heard anything after their investigation. I emailed them for an update and they told me the investigation is done.
As of today nothing has happened to the DM
