Not that Boeing wasn't already a "mess", but look what happened when they moved their HQ to Chicago. They became a "complete mess". Success = being where the actions at"!
Better to look good than to be good, the new GE Vernova slogan.
Y'all, this is all about Vernova being stuck with the MA state obligation. Just keeping the footprint as small as possible to fullfill the MA state obligation.
@1qib+1keMCgH. Do you really think that the physical location of HQ really matters in today's world (other than for tax purposes)?
Got to have a place for all of the corp overhead to work at...
Can I have large fry and coke??? (Start practicing for your next job).
@1qib+1keMCgHH, your wrong, keep HQ far away from mfg sites so there is no quilt when they are shuttering or mass layoffs occur.
More wasted money when GE has facilities that they currently own such as Greenville or Schenectady - would be nice to place HQ next to where the product is actually manufactured. Same goes for New York Times add...I wonder if this add will encourage the average consumer to go out and purchase a new wind turbine or gas turbine???
Probably have to cough up some tax incentive from MA if they move HQ out of state and they spent that money on NY Times ads already.
