A fond memory from corporate Aramco. A few years back, right after COVID, we were overworked and understaffed and had unrealistic goals assigned to our team. When trying to discuss this situation with my Team Lead and finding a proactive solution, he lost his cool and threatened me by saying "we can take this outside if you want?" I was shocked and didn't respond. Just another day in the sand pit.

@24g Since ditching their tents and camels for a more civilized (Western) culture, Gulfees' only culture is "take the first airplane out of the area".
@216 report abuse? lol
@216 sounds all too similar to Gulfees. Something in the water?
@216 Which lesser State are you from?
@1pp What do you expect?
All Texans are g-n-toting, extremely conservative, and loud, drawl-having individuals who all live on ranches, ride horses, and obsessed with football.
These Texans are arrogant "rednecks" or "hicks" who exclusively wear cowboy hats and boots.
Every Texan owns, carries, and is obsessed with g-ns.
Texans are largely uneducated, rural, and close-minded, and there is no part of the state with any highly urbanized, major metropolitan areas.
All Texans are far-right conservatives, even the large populations in cities like Austin, Dallas, and Houston.
All Texans are loud, brash, and boastful about the state ("Everything is bigger in Texas").
All Texans ride horses, wear cowboy boots, and hold s-xist or highly traditionalist views.
They prioritize high school football over education, with high-intensity focus on Friday night lights.
They are ALL like this. There is NO diversity in Texas's population and culture.
@1w8 maybe but the USA payroll especially Texans were just so arrogant and for unknown reasons thought they were superior whilst they bitched and whined.
@1pp close… white Brit with a drinking problem
@1pp I can name a few…..
@cs I'd guess white Texan with a drink problem.
Oh that happened to me except it was “you know I can take you out to the desert and make you disappear”
My answer with a big grin “of course I do”.
Just a day in the life….
US expats were the worst for throwing insults in meetings.
@ck exactly. It’s been my experience the Saudis are all fairly mild mannered, and the US expats are the worst when it comes to attitudes.
Pak with US passport.
Yeah...they wouldn't do that, but westerner expats would.
@a5 he wasn't Saudi
Have you ever seen a Saudi fight? You should have accepted his offer and beaten the cr-p out of the houseboy he sent to do his work.
