Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Boss fired

Last day today at AT&T - Got my boss fired after filing a complaint 6 months ago. Called AT&T’s hotline , filed a complaint, provided proof of harassment and discrimination and teammates who witnessed it helped out also. Recorded every teams call with an external phone and provided all recordings to HR investigation team.

Leaving the company with a 6 figure payout. Entire org is toxic!!

Everyone I know who complained to HR or otherwise was shown the door in approx. 6 months. It was only two people but both were gone in approx 6 months.

@f2 - this is true. If you want to be investigated or harassed both at work and off work hours, then complain. COBC does not apply at AT&T. HR wants to minimize risk and because you complained YOU are the risk.

Don't buy it. I have reported dr-g use by employees at my building for many years and nothing becomes of it. Unless you're a lady-man complaining about where to relieve yourself, your complaints will go unanswered.

lol! We have a hotline??? I remember the old ATT OneStop number for reporting HR violations but I thought that went away because people were reporting other people for being on video calls in their boxers!

HR does not terminate management because of Code of Conduct Violations! Individuals that engage in offensive conduct are often promoted and compensated!!

If only we could get the top boss fired… he has shown his resentment of his older employees - on multiple occasions. It is amazing that he has not been not penalized for his actions. I guess ADEA discrimination, at AT&T, is allowed to happen completely unchecked.
