The last 3 years has been absolutely brutal @ Hy-Vee during this time period. Will we go thru a Sink the Ships mentality again or will things get better? I have heard there will be movement with the supervisors and change is expected as their involvement at the store level has been very little in the past year. No direction, no passion, no teaching. Yet to be determined. Best place to work in America … Correct ?

Is the rumor true alot of subsidiary higher ups were let go yesterday? One I am familiar with, the head got walked out yesterday
And the 2023 edition of Hy-Vee changes have began. Go figure, if they continue to lose some of the best people, struggles will continue to run deep. These changes they make are and continue will effect the profit of the company.
Area supervisors are a joke. Most of them don’t help for sh-t at store level. They push cr-p on stores. Here’s an idea. Let say a supervisor has 40 stores. Well the stores they should be in everyday are the bottom 10 stores that don’t hit their target dept gross. They should be judge on the p&l. If they have a poor performing dept they should be in that store helping that dept manager until that gross improves. They just walk in give a few idea and run out of the store. Most of the new dept Mgr don’t even know what a p&l is or how to control inventory.
The first thing they should do is teach these supervisors how to communicate with employees.They could care less if they speak to the employees or not.Having many years with the company and even sat with high ranking corporate supervision and then not to be even spoken to by these younger even supervisors with 10 years experience is appalling. WHAT HAS HYVEE BECOME???
