And all I feel is relief. I'm honestly glad I stuck through all the attrition so I could leave with a severance. Good luck to everyone still there. The sooner this place is in your rearview mirror, the better off you'll be.

@az I never had below a meets and was cut last year. Lawyer said it’s pretty ironclad unless I could prove age discrimination and that’s next to impossible to prove.
@av what did attorney said?
@aj not true. Many people were mysteriously downgraded to IM through no fault of their own, over the past 1-3 years. Last year there was a large # hit, suspecting behind the scenes requirements by upper management. For every Exceeds, you can count on an IM or more to offset given elsewhere on the team. The fortunate ones who were set free did indeed receive severance.
@a3 glad your mental health is better. It could be even more-so if you don’t visit a layoff site of your past employer.
I left in March, didn’t give that BS 60 day notice either…gave two weeks. I’m so much happier. Everyone I worked with and knew of was either looking elsewhere, waiting on a package, or holding on to hit retirement. I feel like a new person and am energized for the first time in years. My 3 1/2 years served it’s purpose and glad to be gone.
@ch how do you know that your layoff date is in 2 weeks. I wish I know
Congrats! My lay off date is in 2 weeks.
The sad part about what WF does to long time, committed employees is to try to belittle them via the bogus IM rating - likely for legal purposes to thwart employees efforts to seek legal counsel to fight the decision or push for a better payout. I was an Exceeds player - FOR YEARS, then suddenly received an IM and then three months later was given my walking papers - thankfully with the maximum severance due to my tenure. My efforts did not change - as a matter of fact, I was working harder than I have ever done for the company, spending up to 80 hours a week to try to maintain the same standard of care over my role for WF, our customers, and my direct reports.
@av this package is pretty standard. Please update after you meet with the lawyer. I am curious lawyer’s suggestion.
I was laid off March 31. Corporate Risk, SERM. I had “Meets” MidYear 2025, and then a bogus “Inconsistently Meets” YE 2025. I’m in non-working status and severance is on the table, 2 weeks per 1 year of service, if I sign an agreement and release of claims. I’m meeting with an attorney Thursday to review everything and will make my decision.
I had an IM at year end and was laid off with severance at midyear last year. I count my lucky stars I did get severance.
@ah sadly you’re in the wrong bucket. You are likely in the “free to go” group of people to be fired. I’ve not heard of one person who got severance and got IM. You either fix it some how,or expect the worst. I’m truly sorry.
@OP you may not want to share, but were you rated as inconsistent meets at year end appraisals? Many of us who were rated as IM are awaiting our fate,
Just wondering if they are still giving severance
Layoff spells relief
how lucky
Congrats! I'm waiting for severance as well, I'll happily leave, but not without a package.
What was ur role/dept and site did u get laid off from? Do u know how many others were also laid off?
Agreed. I was laid off in January and my mental health has never been better!
