JPM monitoring junior bankers every keystroke, claims its for employee well-being

For the activity monitoring skeptics. Given how hard charlie fetishizes JPM, still think this concept isn't coming to Wells eventually?

@b4
Me too.
I still have work and I get it done. I get it done on time and as efficiently as possible working under the confines of the bloated bureaucracy that has been instilled in my area.
If I step away, it's for a reason and I am in no mood to explain to anybody where I am at so I jiggle away.

What exactly is a “junior banker”?

@d0 My new keyboard jiggler comes with AI. To beat the AI, become the AI.

Hundreds of employees have been let go for cause over the last few years due to using jigglers or placing heavy items on keyboards to simulate activity. they can tell what natural activity looks like compared to simulated.

So, yes- they do monitor for this and they will terminate.

The vast majority of cubes at WF are not covered by cameras.

Same person posts this garbage every week. The only things being monitored are days and hours in the office. Do the needful and stop posting this nonsense.

WF doesnt have actual managers, it has politicians and cronies who won the game of corporate survivor.

So, when one gets to the point they oversee 10,000 people and their net worth is tied to arbitrary goals, these tools give them the illusion of control.

This is news to nobody. The real question is what management does when they finally figure out that people have managed to game the system by altering their workflow. Measuring clicks and keystrokes isn't going to lead to productivity gains, it's going to lead to gaming the system.

@OP WF already does this, I know because I do investigations on employees using mouse jigglers

They do it with AI.

Ever seen what Starbucks gathers on you when you are in the store? Facial recognition, how much time you spend, what you ordered, all linked to your account.

No doubt JPM does a lot more than keystroke monitoring. Offices have cameras.

Fortunately, most of Wells staff are luddites behind the curve on technology
