My last severance paycheck will be May 8. Anyone know if insurance stops the day after or does it stop May 31? I have heard if you work at least one day in a month then leave, your insurance is covered until end of month. Wondering if same applies for severance ending.

May 31. COBRA can’t even be offered until you’re officially off the payroll.

It should run thru the end of the month, my sev ended I want to say the 12th of the month and it was good thru the end

Read the document that they sent to you regarding your separation. Mine was called "next steps". You can also call the displacement assistance line 877-584-6097. They are helpful.
I believe that your medical coverage will be available while you are receiving severance pay.
