Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

In a way, it's impressive

How hard they are trying to find people to get rid of. Multiple ways of tracking the same work, how often you're moving the mouse, clicking, and typing. Whether your work can be replaced by a push-button workflow.

Capitalism is showing just how ruthless it truly is.

Once you understand what capitalism is, let us know. What you described is not it.

@av hey numnuts, the U.S. has one of the highest poverty rates among developed nations, frequently ranking near the bottom in relative poverty comparisons among 38 countries.

Most job functions presume use the same applications on a daily basis. Not every day is the same. Some days more computer input than others. Also where you wait on work. Ive heard people say they had experimented with this in varying degrees. By using a timer, set it in varying increments, come back before it expires. Between apps used, never to established a pattern in which they went to next always random. Set timer for another time allow enough time to get back before showing away. They didn't use a mouse thing either.

Something too they said to avoid a suspicious pattern in that, it's good to let it go away for various times as well. Alternate days not always do it etc. As being available all the time would be suspicious too lol.

I'm like that's a pretty elaborate scheme. Able to get some errands done and all their household chores. soon as they sign off for the day theyd have the rest of the day to chill out.

@dx No, they are tracking every keystroke, every application interaction.

Check your task manager for Aternity agent. It's watching everything you do, or don't do, on the computer and spitting out questionable metrics about it.

Complaining about capitalism and working for one of the largest banks in the world. Now that's rich.

Impressive how you still don’t understand they are only tracking days and hours in the office. And also arbitrarily giving you a rating depending on if they like you or not. It’s not that difficult to understand.

@av The happiest countries on the planet have significantly stronger social nets and much less focus on corporate profits as the only thing that matters.

Prevent isn't guaranteed there, particularly when you realize those people keep places like Las Vegas profitable.
