Verizon Fios is going to soon be available to more people on eastern LI. In other words Altice's goose is cooked. Only a buff00n who values pennies over quality of the product would stick with Altice at that point.

Competition is piling on in the East and in the West. ALTICE’s days are numbered with most every market Altice has a presence in being over built by one and in many cases multiple providers and carriers. No customers, no employees, no financial backing. It doesn’t matter how many “passings” you have if. No one wants your service. The clock is ticking. If you own stock in this tu-d, I pity you.
Altice is f**ked when that happens. Service works day one, didn't forget to code it on backend for fiber or coax.
Modems and boxes work day one. Yay, don't have to send in an action that gets ignored for two weeks or more, then have it ignored for two more weeks when you get sent on a repeat.
Maybe Verizon's dispatch answers the phone in under 2 hours when there is a problem during install as well. Maybe they actually transfer the phone number they were supposed to too.
Maybe Verizon actually allows their techs to do a job properly.
Maybe.
This is going to hurt them , However they did it to them selves with corporate greed! They will lose thousands of customers when this is done! Franchise is already in motion
Great timing for Verizon. So many neighborhoods are held hostage by garbage Altice and these people are fed up. They're about to lose a lot more customers as Fios keeps expanding.
Brookhaven?
New builds in Jersey too!
Agreed. can’t wait for that option to become available!
