Oracle Cerner has started another round of layoffs that appears to be part of a restructuring plan Oracle Corp. approved in fiscal year 2022 to bolster operational efficiencies after its acquisitions, including Cerner Corp., according to SEC filings.

Yes about the previous service counting toward layoff payouts. I heard that too, then I got laid off with payout based on my Oracle start date.

Make sure that is not a myth before you calc your sev package.

Word is that you get 4 weeks for your first year of service and then 1 week for every year on top of that. Not sure what they cap it at. Yes, Cerner service is factored in.

does anybody know for layoff severance package, do they consider the number of years i had worked in my previous tenure with the company as Im a rehired employee?
