Thread regarding State Street Corp. layoffs

Labor union at State Street Corporation?

This might sound crazy, but has there been any attempts from employees forming a labor union at State Street Corporation?

I know Wells Fargo employees made some attempts. But I couldn’t find any articles online to unionize at State Street Corp. I constantly see people list State Street Corp as one of the worst employer to work in the subreddit forums. You would think there would be a union by now.

True, crab mentality and low quality.
H1b represents only the best of the whole world.

State is full of people with crab mentality.

I say go for it, what do you have to lose? Potentially a job that pays you far less than everywhere else and overworks you far more than everywhere else? Sounds like a huge win either way to me.

I agree, H1B is taking over too many roles, they will never let you.

A union would be useless, since the company has outsourced a lot of the work and brought in H1B workers.

The percentage of U.S workers is probably under 40%

I’m down. Write something up and pin it to the cork boards in the kitchen.
