Do you think Michel implied a layoff announcement coming this April?

Got a note today from someone who had their position eliminated. Wondering how many more there will be before month end. But hey! We care about you! #BeWell

Might be coincidence. Bonus has been paid. There could be incentive money $$$ to leave. Pension plan not as sweet for the long termer's as it was.

Depending on how much incentive, you might take it too.

I agree with you that more and more of the older folks will be leaving, though.

Already heard of 3 upcoming "retirements" in my LOB within USB. Coincidence that these individuals made this decision at the exact same time? #EmployeeCare

US retail was 4000 employees.
Ops for Poland and Greece was 450.
P&C was 3500 employees.

That is still 16,050 jobs gone.

Don’t forget you have US Retail Separation (2016/2017), sale of MetLife’s P&C and the sale of MetLife’s operations in Greece and Poland impacting the number of associates at MetLife.

Just onesie/twosies, and likely those already with performance issues. Can’t envision large scale layoffs at this point.

Expect to see small scale layoffs but nothing major. They already did a round of layoffs in December.
