The white-on blue "BOSE" sign on route 117 in Stow hasn't been removed, and it was decaying. Somebody removed the "O" from both sides of the sign. Today, I drove by, and there's a brand new BOSE sign, in standard Bose Corporation white-on-black. As a former employee who used to work there, I'm curious what's going on. I thought the place was being sold to a private school, and the P&S agreement was signed. So why is money being spent on the new sign? Yet more wasteful spending.

It looks like the school isn't really going to purchase the Stow real estate.
Probably redecorate the facilities even though no one is working there.
Probably a brand thing because its still owned by Bose.
Or TV Sets.
I’m sure the big brains at McKinsey told them to do this and the executive team jumped right on it. It was at the top of the list for marketing this fiscal year.
'Maybe they are going to start making 901's again!'
No...that might be a good business decision
It’s interesting that just like many plans they had grand plans and they fell to nothing, the zoning board shows they had an intention to develop and add more buildings and never acted on it
The signage happening odd. Seems it would have been demolished by now, since yes https://www.stow-ma.gov/planning-board/pages/masters-academy-proposal-former-bose-site
Maybe they are going to start making 901's again!
