It’s been almost three months since legal day one and I think it’s pretty ridiculous that most of us still don’t know if we will still have a job or not!

You should have been’ looking for something outside USB before now. USB has reneged on all of their word about finding jobs for as many folks. So many IB folks get automatic rejection letters without on person talking to them.
Based on your market and speaking only to retail banking, some US Bank legacy branches are closing more than Union branches. Union Bank has a ton of talent in the retail sector compared to other banks. Recruitment is stricter with Union Bank than opposed to US Bank from an HR perspective historically. US typically hires without any banking background as with Union they wouldn't consider you unless you were seasoned. This was mostly the case with Union prior to consideration of selling in 2018-2019.
Why would they keep anyone. MUB Systems are decommissioning, roles are redundant, MUB folks make more money than US Bank. Stop dreaming that you are somehow more talented that US Bank folks. Real decision makers in US Bank do not know you because you are working with peons .
