Thread regarding Oracle Corp. layoffs

Union?

Layoffs inspire interest in unionizing. Google’s layoffs did two things, my teammate Paayal Zaveri writes. They shattered the utopian illusion of working at a giant like Google. And it encouraged droves of Googlers to join the Alphabet Workers Union.

I worked in and with many countries for the past 20+ years, even with relative socialist labor laws (e.g. illegal non-competes, etc), not a single time I saw IT unionized anywhere or even an attempt to do so. I always wondered why, never got an answer.

good read.

Oracle needs to eliminate corrupt middle management VP(s). Much is being written now that will be coming out soon. It ties so well into this article. Thank you OP for positing link.

Most don’t work anyway. CCP can bring in slave labor fast. Globalists don’t care. https://www.entrepreneur.com/business-news/meta-google-layoffs-exposed-fake-work-former-paypal-exec/447258

Last time Detroit workers tried this Union trick, globalists shipped their jobs abroad.

Answer is not Union, answer is voting in Nationalists to take on Globalists.

Learn how to advocate for yourself and others! Something a labor union would assist.

Or just keep being sheep jumping from one lying cheating employer to the other without questioning. You know that is exactly what the pointy headed bosses want, correct?

Haven’t you seen enough? The warm embraces when times are good. The cold shoulder when they are not. Most people work 30, 40 or more years of their lives. That’s a long time to be jerked around by the psychopaths that run most organizations.

Learn how to job hunt. Your employer is not here to serve you. You are here to serve it—hopefully with a mutual agreement that you get something out of it too like work experience and accomplishments.

Today's tech workers are so bloated on expectations that they forgot their work was still a job by any other name.
