I've heard that they have identified a lot of underperforming Process Verification Engineers and that they will be the first to go. I absolutely agree with this. There are too many of them that are mediocre at best and who couldn't engineer their way out of a paper bag. The Austin facility is full of them. They were kept on after the merge and have been protected by their supervisors, but that's all about to change, and for the better.
