Thread regarding Splunk Inc. layoffs

Please please please stop with the meetings that don’t achieve anything and are like 75% socializing about the weather, kids activities, the cool splunk shirt you’re wearing, conf cr-p, or anything that is so far off the runway of work. I don’t care who you had dinner with or the C levels that you are dinner with who greased you up cause you were paying for dinner. Stop stop stop. This is legit the tech of like 1995. It’s just not what is important. My time and my family’s time is important. And don’t be on a call with the kids or pets in the car and say “hold on” every 5 mins. We all have lives and if your social and professional life are 99% splunk….you need help. Byyyyyyyye
