The note from my severance says "operational changes" are the reason I'm being laid off:
"As a result of operational changes, we had to make the difficult decision to eliminate your position. This letter serves as formal notice that your current position at Kaiser Foundation Hospitals is being eliminated. Your Date of termination is June 09, 2023."
