HR and DEI at NetApp, how do you feel about your position in this company? Do you still feel relevant?

How do you keep managers and executives from always hiring their family and friends if there are no mechanisms in place to stop it? Look at NetApp. It's the family and friends' company. This affects how the whole company operates along with who gets laid off.

Market share is not determined by the diversity or inclusivity of a company, it's determined by cost relative to product.

Injecting -any- bias into the hiring and promotion process actually leads to worse outcomes as the goal is no longer solely to get and retain the absolute best talent.

It's sad that NetApp culture is anti-diversity, anti-equity, and anti-inclusion. One of many reasons to leave the company and if you're considering joining, not to join the company. It's no wonder NetApp continues to lose market share YoY.

Relevance is irrelevant, do you really think HR is going to lay itself off?
