Managing the downfall

I've had the impression for a long time that the leadership of this company has no intention of trying to improve this company. It's like they letting it collapse while they manage its downfall. Or am I exaggerating?

@1vqq+1mR8QEXr when there's only a few per floor, you can't have "a few per department" assigned like this. We close with three generalists per floor at night, IF everyone shows up for their shift. Maybe one more in Fine Jewelry, one in Beauty, one in AYS. And we wonder why we get surveys complaining that there's no one at the registers when they want to check out.

I think ISM can work in the sense of everyone doing Register,Merchandise Placement, Signing etc but there needs to be departments that people work in even if it’s only a few per department. Someone there so there’s consistency.

They're pumping money in all the wrong things. Get rid of ISM, have people at the right place at the right time for the customer, bring back fitting room attendants and tackle those rods once and for all. Stop having one person do 3 jobs in one day. You think you're getting more productivity but you're not, you are just exploiting those who actually work while others just lean on the wrap stand scrolling Instagram. Hold your associates and managers accountable. This hours bs has everyone lacking motivation and worried if they will afford their basic necessities next week. Even more so when they see money spent on renovations, construction and big screens. Terry must be laughing his a-s off at Jeff. What a mo--n, reverse midas touch.

I don’t believe the leadership has a clue on how to improve the company. A few have deciphered the hieroglyphics on the wall and are trying to milk it for all it’s worth without being too obvious but this will not end well for the rank and file. Mission Every One is just lip service and saying the right things. No substance there at all.
