Thread regarding USAA layoffs

Layoffs will continue

We can all expect the inevitable arrival of further job cuts. It's laughable to believe that layoffs at USAA will ever stop. It's truly pathetic witnessing those who assume they're shielded during the lulls between major rounds. The concept of safety doesn't exist here anymore. If you are not actively searching for a new job, you are in trouble.

This is Wayne’s USAA folks, where every employee is living in fear each day, wondering if today will be the day they get a 60 day notice.

No one is safe. This is the new USAA. Employees are disposable resources. And Wayne couldn’t give two flying fu--s about you or your family.

“Safe” is wishful thinking. Welcome to the sc-mbag financial services industry way of doing things: create an environment of uncertainty, strip privileges, and crush morale in order to drive voluntary attrition. This avoids severance, headlines with big layoff numbers all at once, and skirting WARN filing requirements. Expect more layoffs in drips and drabs to be the new normal for the foreseeable future. And if they don’t get the attrition they want through the uncertain environment and return to office, expect major layoffs heading into the holiday season. Got to pay for those executive raises and bonuses somehow, boys and girls! I mean, after all, why not cast all the people that helped accomplish the BCC mission off into the trash?

Who said they are safe??? I’ve seen no posts on any site where anyone has claimed to be “safe”
