Thread regarding Ricoh layoffs

Toshiba? Really?

Ricoh really showing its desperation here. Toshiba mfp market share % anyone? Any Fortune 500 CIO out there standardizing on Toshiba laptops? Really fitting nicely with the Ricoh brand: Anything for a buck.

This will move to extend further than manufacturing. I don’t think there was anything missed in Japanese to English translation.

Can anyone find a customer out there who bought a Toshiba mfp thinking they got premium top of the line tech for users? Nope? Decision was purely made on cost? Let ‘em eat cake.

What weighs more? A hundred pounds of Toshiba laptops or a hundred pounds of ricoh pantax cameras?

I have actually heard that Toshiba is winning Ricoh accounts all over the place because of pricing. If Toshiba can somehow add Ricoh production to their portfolio as a rebranded item, they may be in really good shape.
