Thread regarding USAA layoffs

What areas affected?

Just left USAA (voluntarily) a few months ago. What areas have been hit by layoffs? Can’t believe WP got such a big raise…but who’s really surprised? He must have pics of someone on the Board to get (and keep) the CEO job. He screws up everything he does…please know that better pay AND benefits are available elsewhere…the grass is greener outside 9800.

Can’t blame anyone but leadership for getting us in this situation to begin with…..

"We have moved on from BCC" if we say it enough it will come true. Once these regulatory actions close, staff will continue to get gutted. Shame all that work is being torn apart so fast.

I left AML a few months ago after months of having zero work (starting 4q last year). They just hired way too many people. Not sure how delusional people are to think they wont get rid of 80% of that group. People are literally doing nothing for 2-3 days at a time

These last 2 rounds of layoffs, the Bank has gotten slammed. And this next round coming in this month, Bank will get it hard once again. And we haven’t even gotten to AML yet, once that consent order work is nearing completion, they will get gutted.
