Thread regarding MetLife Inc. layoffs

How is HR defining “employee care”?

Can they stop creating marketing terms and just do the freaking obvious right thing for employees. Better base salaries, better benefits at less cost to employees. It’s not that hard. Perhaps they should think about it as a volunteer opportunity for or donation to employees.

This company is not first class. All of the “Best for XYZ” awards are lies. Total complete lies.

How about showing you “care” by ENFORCING use of Performance Management tools & timely ASSOCIATE communications that are cascaded throughout the Annual Performance Management cycle. It all seems very optional….and not at all consistent across the workforce. The HR model currently serves SLT only. The rest of us get the “Zen Desk”…. So disorganized - what a sh!t show. But yeah- you care because instead of putting into action clear feedback that you continue to receive…you choose to campaign with buzz words “Employee Care”. no apparent action plan or real meaning known to the very audience this propaganda is geared to. Can’t think of a better way to show you care! Great job HR 👏 👏 Your efforts are Insulting…to say the very least.

Snoopy is the Employee Care mascot. To show the softer, gentler side of HR.
